Thought I'd give the SharePoint 2016 preview a try and when running the script I get an error "Cannot locate SharePoint binaries; please check that the files are in the \SharePoint subfolder as per new folder structure."
I thought I'd just go ahead and install the binaries manually and it still doesn't doesn't detect the install media or that SharePoint has been installed.
Comments: Resolved with changeset 114998: Changes in this release:
- Updated schema version to 3.99.51 re: minor changes in MinRole naming conventions (SpecialLoad is now Custom). Also reordered the attributes to match how they're displayed in PSConfigUI (config wizard).
- Added slightly better error handling in case there is a problem with the XML (to avoid such errors completely though, go validate your XML at https://autospinstaller.com first).
- Improved handling of Excel Services / Secure Store based on new SP2016 requirements.
